HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to  learn of the death of
Milton C. 
4"Milt" Jensen of Beach Park, who passed away on March 31, 2012; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Milton Jensen was a 37-year veteran of United 
7Airlines; he also served as mayor of Zion in the 1970s and was 
8in his 4th term as mayor of Beach Park; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Milton Jensen was an active member of the Retired 
10United Pilots' Association, the Zion Benton American Legion 
11Post #865, and the Zion Benton Loyal Order of the Moose; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Milton Jensen enjoyed flying, public service, and 
13computers; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Milton Jensen was married to the love of his life, 
15Ina (nee Lyons) for almost 61 years; he and his wife had 7 
16children, Don (Sue), Glenn (Cynthia), Rich (Cindy), Phil 
17(Sandy), Julie Gonka (Dennis), Liane Leicht (Frankie Kaiser), 
18and Connie Gill (Paul); they also had 20 grandchildren and 12 
19great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of 
3Milton C. "Milt" Jensen; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Milton Jensen as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
