HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Euris and Marian 
4Johnson on their 50th wedding anniversary; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Euris and Marian Johnson were married on September 
630, 1961; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Euris worked for the Chicago Public Schools for 
8over 30 years and Marian was a dedicated nurse at Provident 
9Hospital for 30 years; and

  
 
10    WHEREAS, They will celebrate with their children, Thea 
11Johnson, Allison Johnson Grandberry, and Euris (Bomani) 
12Johnson; and their grandchildren, Kevin D. Grandberry, Jr., 
13Cameron R. Grandberry, and Nurah Mekeba Carr Johnson; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, a rededication ceremony will be held at a later 
15date at the Congregational Church of Park Manor, where they 
16were married 50 years ago; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate Euris and Marian Johnson on this momentous 
20occasion and wish them continued happiness and good health for

1years to come; and be it further
  
 
2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to Euris and Marian Johnson as a symbol of our 
4respect and esteem.
