HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the 
4administration, staff, and students of Benedictine University 
5for being a recipient of the Illinois State Historical 
6Society's Centennial Award and thanks them for their 100 years 
7of dedicated service to their community; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The Illinois State Historical Society's 
9Centennial Award honors businesses, clubs, municipalities, and 
10non-profit organizations that have conducted business in the 
11State of Illinois for 100 years or more; the Society has 
12recognized over 1,400 businesses since 1984; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, The administration, staff, and students of 
14Benedictine University serve as models of hard work, integrity, 
15and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate the administration, staff, and students of 
20Benedictine University for being a recipient of the Illinois 
21State Historical Society's Centennial Award, thank them for 
22their 100 years of dedicated service to their community, and

1wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
