Makes appropriation to the Office of the Attorney General from the General Revenue Fund to provide a grant to the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation to accomplish any purpose authorized by the Illinois Equal Justice Act. Effective immediately.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the Attorney General to provide a grant to the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation to accomplish any purpose authorized by the Illinois Equal Justice Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
