Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that the Department of Natural Resources shall establish harvest report stations throughout the State during the open seasons for licensed hunters to report the number of deer and wild turkey harvested in person rather than through the telephone or the Department's website. Provides that the if the hunter chooses to report his or her harvest in person, he or she must report the harvest within 48 hours after the kill.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 3.0 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 3.0. Harvest reporting stations. The Department shall |
| 8 | | establish harvest report stations throughout the State during |
| 9 | | the open seasons for deer and wild turkeys. The harvest report |
| 10 | | stations shall permit licensed hunters to report the number of |
| 11 | | deer and wild turkeys harvested in person rather than over the |
| 12 | | telephone or through the Department's website. If the hunter |
| 13 | | chooses to report his or her harvest in person, he or she must |
| 14 | | report the harvest within 48 hours after the kill.
