2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5457 as follows:

3 | | on page 8, by replacing line 24 with " extension. An additional |
4 | | copy of the report must be submitted to the State Board of |
5 | | Education if the report identifies amounts designated as |
6 | | surplus and distributed to taxing districts as provided in |
7 | | Section 11-74.4-7 of the Tax Increment Allocation |
8 | | Redevelopment Act. If the required report is not filed within |
9 | | the time "; and |
10 | | on page 32, by replacing lines 16 through 23 with the |
11 | | following: |
12 | | "camping and hunting. On and after January 1, 2013, no |
13 | | redevelopment plan may be approved that allocates more than 40% |
14 | | of the estimated redevelopment project costs to residential |
15 | | developments, and no redevelopment plan shall be amended to |
16 | | exceed that 40% limitation. The limitations on the allocation |

2 | | developments imposed by this amendatory Act of the 97th General |
3 | | Assembly do not apply to residential development projects that: |
4 | | (i) include affordable housing for low-income and very |
5 | | low-income households, as defined by the Illinois Affordable |
6 | | Housing Act; (ii) are located in a municipality with a |
7 | | population of less than 25,000 inhabitants; or (iii) are |
8 | | subject to a contract between the municipality and a developer |
9 | | in existence prior to the effective date of this amendatory Act |
10 | | of the 97th General Assembly. Each redevelopment plan"; and |
11 | | on page 65, by deleting lines 10 through 19; and |
12 | | on page 79, line 3, by replacing " 2012 " with " 2013 "; and |
13 | | on page 99, by replacing lines 20 through 21 with " resubmitted |
14 | | plan or amendment is rejected at the reconvened joint review |
15 | | board meeting by a three-fifths vote of all taxing districts |
16 | | and the public members, if elected, that constitute the joint |
17 | | review board, with ".
