Amends the Quasi-criminal and Misdemeanor Bail Act. Provides that in any case which does not require a
court appearance under Supreme Court Rule, upon
a plea of guilty the amounts of fines, fees,
costs, and penalties for the offense shall be in
the amount mandated by statute or by local
ordinance enacted pursuant to statute. Provides that no rule
or order of the Supreme Court shall alter these
amounts. Provides that any circuit clerk or deputy circuit
clerk is authorized to receive written
appearances, pleas of guilty, and waivers of
trial and to accept payments in satisfaction of
the judgment entered upon the plea.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Quasi-criminal and Misdemeanor Bail Act is |
5 | | amended by changing Section 4 as follows:

In any case which does not require a

payments, in satisfaction of the judgment to be entered |
