Amends the Public Community College Act to provide that beginning January 2012, each community college within the City Colleges of Chicago shall offer degree-granting programs in nursing, cosmetology, and hospitality and culinary arts. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 3-29.10 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (110 ILCS 805/3-29.10 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3-29.10. City Colleges of Chicago programs. Beginning |
| 8 | | January 2012, each community college within the City Colleges |
| 9 | | of Chicago shall offer degree-granting programs in nursing, |
| 10 | | cosmetology, and hospitality and culinary arts.

| 11 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
