SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the Department of Agriculture for county fairs and fair and exposition authorities and for grants to soil and water conservation districts. Effective July 1, 2011.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Department of Agriculture for County Fairs and Fair and Exposition Authorities:
Payable from the Agricultural Premium Fund:
For distribution to encourage and aid
county fairs and other agricultural
societies.................................... $1,798,600
For premiums to agricultural extension
or 4-H clubs to be distributed at a
uniform rate.................................... 786,400
For rehabilitation of county fairgrounds....... 1,850,000
For agricultural education programs approved by
the Department of Agriculture................... 329,300
Total $4,764,300
Payable from Fair and Exposition Fund:
For distribution to County Fairs and
Fair and Exposition Authorities................ $900,900
Total $900,900
Section 10. The amount of $6,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Agriculture from the General Revenue Fund for grants to soil and water conservation districts for clerical and other personnel, for education and promotional assistance, and for expenses of water conservation district boards and administrative expenses.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2011.
