| 7 | | Sec. 12-4.44. Third-party contracts. The Department of |
| 8 | | Human Services shall provide a report to the General Assembly |
| 9 | | by January 1, 2012 regarding the feasibility and implications |
| 10 | | of contracting with third-party, nongovernmental entities to |
| 11 | | perform administrative functions related to the application |
| 12 | | process for applicants applying for only medical assistance. |
| 13 | | The report required by this Section shall include, but not be |
| 14 | | limited to, an analysis of the impact of removing medical |
| 15 | | assistance only cases from the caseload assigned to employees |
| 16 | | in local Department of Human Services field offices that accept |
