SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $2,000,000 to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to the Black Chamber of Commerce of Lake County for the creation of the Black Chamber of Commerce Training Academy (BCCTA) and the creation of the pre-apprenticeship construction skills training program. Effective July 1, 2011.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Black Chamber of Commerce of Lake County for the creation of the Black Chamber of Commerce Training Academy (BCCTA) and the creation of the pre-apprenticeship construction skills training program.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2011.
