| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Cigarette Use Tax Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 16 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (35 ILCS 135/16) (from Ch. 120, par. 453.46)

| 7 | | Sec. 16.
Every person who purchases cigarettes for shipment |
| 8 | | into Illinois
from a point outside this State, and
and who is |
| 9 | | required to file a return or report with
the Department with |
| 10 | | respect to such cigarettes, shall procure invoices in
duplicate |
| 11 | | covering each such shipment and shall furnish one copy of each
|
| 12 | | such invoice to the Department at the time of filing the return |
| 13 | | or report required by
this Act. |
