Amends the Private Sewage Disposal Licensing Act. Creates a provision that provides that any rulemaking adopted after the effective date of the amendatory Act may not take effect until January 1, 2012. Repeals the provision on December 31, 2012. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Private Sewage Disposal Licensing Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 7a as follows:
|
| 6 | | (225 ILCS 225/7a new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 7a. Rulemaking. Any rules adopted by the Department |
| 8 | | after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 97th |
| 9 | | General Assembly to amend the private sewage disposal code as |
| 10 | | required under Section 7 of this Act may not take effect until |
| 11 | | on or after January 1, 2012. This Section is repealed on |
| 12 | | December 31, 2012.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
