AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 116

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 116 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    “Section 5. The sum of $135,000,000, minus the amount transferred to the State Universities Retirement System pursuant to continuing appropriation authorized by the State Pension Funds Continuing Appropriation Act, is appropriated from the State Pensions Fund to the Board of Trustees of the State Universities Retirement System pursuant to the provisions of Section 8.12 of the State Finance Act.

    Section 10. The sum of $845,485,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of the State Universities Retirement System for the State’s contribution, as provided by law.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2011.”.
