| 1 | | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
| 5 | | Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
| 6 | | amended by adding Section 2310-660 as follows:

| 7 | | (20 ILCS 2310/2310-660 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 2310-660. Pharmaceutical manufacturers; transparency |
| 9 | | reports. Upon receipt by the State from the Secretary of the |
| 10 | | United States Department of Health and Human Services, the |
| 11 | | Department of Public Health shall post on its website the |
| 12 | | report required under Section 6002 of the federal Patient |
| 13 | | Protection and Affordable Care Act, H.R. 3590, Pub. L. 111-148, |
| 14 | | containing a summary of information submitted by manufacturers |
| 15 | | and group purchasing organizations to the Secretary pursuant to |
| 16 | | the federal law. The Department of Public Health shall post the |
| 17 | | report by September 30, 2013 and by June 30 of each calendar |
| 18 | | year thereafter, or as soon as possible after the State |
| 19 | | receives the report from the Secretary, whichever occurs first.

| 20 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 21 | | becoming law.
