Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Foreclosure Working Group, appointed by the State Housing Task Force, to create recommendations to address the foreclosure and housing crisis in the State.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Further amends the joint resolution. Provides that the number of representatives from the housing industry, not-for-profit community, and private financial institutions appointed by the State Housing Task Force to the Foreclosure Working Group may exceed the designated number of representatives from the designated constituencies. Provides that the members of the Foreclosure Working Group shall serve without compensation (instead of shall serve without compensation, but may be reimbursed for reasonable expenses). Provides that the members of the State Housing Task Force may be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while performing their duties as part of the Working Group.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 2
Further amends the joint resolution. Provides that the work of the Foreclosure Working group will be divided into 2 (instead of 3) primary focus areas: foreclosure impact and housing education and outreach (instead of foreclosure impact; housing education and outreach; and regulatory reform).
