Deletes reference to:
720 ILCS 5/1-3
Adds reference to:
720 ILCS 5/12-9from Ch. 38, par. 12-9

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 concerning threatening a public official. Provides that for purposes of a threat to a social worker, caseworker, or investigator, the threat must contain specific facts indicative of a unique threat to the person, family or property of the individual and not a generalized threat of harm. Defines "public official" to include a social worker, caseworker, or investigator employed by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, the Department of Human Services, or the Department of Children and Family Services.

House Floor Amendment No. 1

720 ILCS 5/12-9
Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 2630/5.2

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Criminal Identification Act. Allows a person to petition the court and the court to order the sealing of specified Class 2, 3, and 4 felony conviction records 4 years after termination of the person's last sentence. Current law limits the sealing of felony conviction records to Class 4 felony convictions for possession of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine Precursor Control Act, Steroid Control Act, and prostitution. Requires a person petitioning to seal a drug offense to pass a drug test within the 30 days preceding the filing of the petition to seal.
