Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Illinois Transparency and Accountability Portal shall provide direct access to a database of the State's annual workforce characteristics, compensation, and employee mobility, organized searchably by State agency, by job classification, by union, and in aggregate.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Central Management Services shall distribute a spreadsheet or otherwise make data entry available to each State agency to facilitate the collection of data on the State's annual workforce characteristics, workforce compensation, and employee mobility. Provides that the Department shall determine the data to be collected by each State agency. Provides that the Department shall publish the data received from each State agency on the Illinois Transparency and Accountability Portal or another open data site annually.
