Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that for sanitation and building code violations, a code inspector shall include in the violation notice the title and citation of the code provision alleged to have been violated and a description of the circumstances present that constitute the alleged violation. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the engrossed bill with the following change. Provides that for sanitation and building code violations, a code inspector shall include in the violation notice a citation to the specific code provision or provisions (now, the title and citation) alleged to have been violated. Effective immediately.
