Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Senior Citizens Real Estate Tax Deferral Act. Removes a limitation providing that the total amount of any deferral under the Act shall not exceed $5,000 per taxpayer in each tax year. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that, for the 2012 assessment year and thereafter, the total amount of any such deferral shall not exceed $20,000 per taxpayer in each tax year (in the introduced bill, the limitation is removed).
