Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Public Community College Act. Specifically includes the Procurement of Domestic Products Act as one of the laws (and related administrative requirements) that apply to the Public Community College Act. Removes a reference to the Public Works Preference Act, which has been repealed. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Public Community College Act. In a Section concerning applicable laws, removes a reference to the Public Works Preference Act, which has been repealed. Provides that the provisions of the Procurement of Domestic Products Act shall apply to the Public Community College Act to the extent practicable, provided that the Procurement of Domestic Products Act must not be applied to the Public Community College Act in a manner that is inconsistent with the requirements of the Public Community College Act. Effective immediately.
