Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section creating the civil administrative agencies.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Workforce Investment Board Act. Provides that the Illinois Workforce Investment Board must annually submit to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity information concerning the Board's meetings, budgets for local workforce investment areas, and contracts for all workforce development training and service providers. Requires that the information submitted by the Illinois Workforce Investment Board be posted on the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's official Internet website. Provides that the Illinois Workforce Investment Board is subject to the Illinois Procurement Code, to the extent consistent with all applicable federal laws. Amends the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois to make conforming changes.
