Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Treasurer Act. In provisions concerning the investment policy for the College Savings Pool, adds that the Treasurer may publish the policy and changes to that policy in the online version of at least one newspaper of general circulation in both Springfield and Chicago. In provisions concerning the investment policy for the Public Treasurer's Investment Pool, adds that the Treasurer may publish the policy and changes to that policy in the online version of at least one newspaper of general circulation in both Springfield and Chicago. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the State Treasurer Act. In provisions concerning the investment policy for the College Savings Pool, removes language requiring that the policy be published at least once each year in at least one newspaper of general circulation in both Springfield and Chicago. In provisions concerning the investment policy for the Public Treasurer's Investment Pool, removes language requiring that the policy be published at least once each year in at least one newspaper of general circulation in both Springfield and Chicago. Effective immediately.
