SB 1849 (H-AM 2) will increase the expenditures of the Illinois Gaming Board as a result of additional requirements for personnel, commodities, equipment, and telecommunication facilities. Projected additional costs to the agency are the following: (1) Chicago Casinos = $5,271,850; (2) Other casinos = $16,716,836; (3) Electronic gaming facilities (racinos) = $26,697,645; TOTAL = $48,686,331. Senate Bill 1849 (H-AM 1) will increase revenues to the State resulting from gaming at casinos and electronic gaming facilities by an undetermined amount. |
