Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Railroad Incorporation Act. Makes a technical change in a provision concerning articles of incorporation.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. In the definition of "proof of financial responsibility", provides that in certain cases a driver shall be required to show proof of ability to respond in damages for any liability in the amounts of $50,000 (instead of $20,000) for any one person injured or killed, $100,000 (instead of $40,000) for bodily injury to or death of 2 or more persons in any one accident, and $40,000 (instead of $15,000) for damage to property resulting from any one accident. Provides that the changes made by the amendatory Act may be referred to as Devin's Law. Makes corresponding changes in other Sections of the Vehicle Code. Effective January 1, 2012.
