Creates the Firearm Public Awareness Task Force.

House Committee Amendment No. 2
Replaces everything after the title with substantially similar provisions except that: provides that the Speaker appoints 5 (instead of 10) representatives and the Minority Leader appoints 5 (instead of 2) representatives to the task force; deletes from the task force two representatives, one from Ceasefire and one from the Cook County's State's Attorney's office; eliminates the reimbursement of travel expenses for task force members; and limits the task force to 3 meetings for which administrative and other support is supplied by the Department of State Police.

House Floor Amendment No. 3
Further amends the resolution. Adds 2 additional Task Force members: a representative of the Cook County State's Attorney's office appointed by the Cook County State's Attorney and an individual who advocates for victims of gun violence appointed by the Speaker.
