Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. In provisions concerning stalking and aggravated stalking, deletes statutory exemptions for individuals and organizations that monitor or are attentive to compliance with public or worker safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other statutory requirements.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces the substance of the bill. Provides that the stalking and aggravated stalking statutes do not apply to an individual or organization monitoring or attentive to compliance with public or worker safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other statutory requirements when the monitoring or attentiveness occurs at the workplace.

House Committee Amendment No. 2
Replaces the substance of the bill. Provides that the stalking and aggravated stalking statutes do not apply to an individual, organization, or employee of a governmental entity monitoring or attentive to compliance with public or worker safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other statutory requirements when the monitoring or attentiveness occurs at the workplace or worksite.
