Synopsis As Introduced
Repeals provisions in the Dental Service Plan Act, Health Maintenance Organization Act, Limited Health Service Organization Act, and Voluntary Health Services Plans Act concerning annual statements and amends each Act to comply with the provisions of the Illinois Insurance Code concerning annual statements and penalties for late or false annual statements.

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Makes changes in the provision concerning annual statements. In the provision concerning fees and charges, provides that the fees for issuing a certificate of authority or renewal thereof except to a foreign fraternal (now, fraternal) benefit society is $400 (instead of $200) and for issuing a certificate of authority or renewal thereof to a foreign fraternal (now, fraternal) benefit society is $200 (instead of $100). Makes other changes.

Further amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that the Director of Insurance shall require the filing of all casualty, fire, and marine policy forms issued or delivered by any company transacting specified kinds of business in Classes 2 and 3 in an electronic format either through the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF) or as otherwise prescribed and approved by the Director.
