Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Lottery Law. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
20 ILCS 1605/1
Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 1605/9.1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Lottery Law. Provides that beginning on January 1, 2012, any management agreement with a private manager must include a requirement that each retail location must have a device that allows the purchaser of a lottery ticket to determine if that ticket can be redeemed for a prize. Effective immediately.
