SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Carole Ann Van Dahm of Hinsdale, who
4passed away on August 12, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Carole Van Dahm was born on November 30, 1940 in
6Hinsdale; she was the youngest of five children; she graduated
7from Downers Grove North High School in 1958, and became a
8licensed Realtor in Hinsdale and assistant manager at the
9Ronald McDonald House at Loyola; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Carole was active in CoACH Care Center (AKA Almost
11Home Kids, Inc.), co-founded by her daughter, Denise, and
12Victory Ranch, a Christian youth ranch founded by her daughter,
13Vicki; and
 
14    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and her
15brother, Louis Rosinski; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Carole Ann Van Dahm is survived by her siblings,
17Marylin (George) Andel, Jerry Rosinski, and Betty (Ken) Foster;
18her daughters, Vicki (Denny) Baum and Denise (Tim) Callarman;
19her son, Shawn (Carleen) Van Dahm; her ten grandchildren; her
20six great-grandchildren; her nieces, nephews, and other
21relatives; and her golden girls; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3her family and friends, the passing of Carole Ann Van Dahm; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Carole Ann Van Dahm as a symbol of
7our sincere sympathy.
