SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marilyn Keine Robinson of Aurora, who
4passed away on August 21, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born August 27, 1924, in Aurora, to the
6late Fredrick Paul and Emily (Brooks) Keine; and
 
7    WHEREAS, In her 20s, she worked for Doctor McCullough, a
8general practitioner in Aurora; after the passing of her
9husband she worked at Aurora National Bank until her
10retirement, where she made lifelong friends and found great joy
11sharing her time with others; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Her interests were enjoying time with family and
13friends, reading biographies, mastering crossword puzzles, and
14working hard to make her home a loving place; she was always
15willing to give time and comfort to others, and she will be
16greatly missed; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Marilyn Robinson was preceded in death by her
18parents; her husband, Robert William Robinson; her sister,
19Eleanor Hoefer Krause; her brothers, Dick Keine, Ray Keine, and
20Bobby Keine; and many cherished friends; and

1    WHEREAS, Marilyn Robinson is survived by her four
2daughters, Martha (Robert Rogers Harriage, M.D.) Robinson
3Harriage, Sarah (Patrick Allen Hayes) Robinson Hayes, Barbara
4(the late David Hoganson) Robinson Hoganson, and Susan (Roger
5Germundson) Robinson; her seven grandchildren, Sarah Rebekah,
6Elizabeth Jane, Sarah Ashley, Alexandra, twins Robbie and Beth,
7and Emily Lynn; her one great-grandchild, Chloe Elizabeth; and
8her beloved nephew, David Charles Hoefer, and niece Susie
9Hoefer Nagan; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
12her family and friends, the passing of Marilyn Robinson; and be
13it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Marilyn Robinson as a symbol of our
16sincere sympathy.
