SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Tracy (Caffrey) Ponce of Collinsville,
4 who passed away on April 27, 2010; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born May 1, 1971; Tracy's daughter, Riley,
6 was everything to her; taking care of her was one of her
7 greatest joys in life; Tracy was a secretary for Holy Cross
8 Lutheran Church in Collinsville, where she was a member and
9 volunteered much of her time; she taught Sunday School at the
10 church; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Her interests included scrapbooking, cooking, and
12 photography; and
 
13     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and
 
14     WHEREAS, In addition to her daughter, surviving are her
15 husband, Eric Ponce, who she married September 28, 1998, in
16 Collinsville; her parents, James (Barb) Caffrey and Beverly
17 (Mike) Mowe; her brother, Matthew Mowe; her stepbrothers,
18 Michael (Courtney) Wesley and their children, Jacqueline,
19 Ayden, and Hudson, and Stephen (Patty) Wesley; her stepsister,
20 Erin Wesley; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and
21 Robin Ponce; her brother-in-law, Brandon Ponce and girlfriend,

1 Jessica Morman, and her son, Kaden; her grandparents on Eric's
2 side, Lawrence (Donna) Ponce and Ronald and Marylou Malwitz;
3 her stepgrandmother, Laverne Krawczyk; her special friends,
4 Jen and Joe Maher; and her many aunts and uncles; therefore, be
5 it
 
6     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
7 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8 her family and friends, the passing of Tracy Ponce; and be it
9 further
 
10     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11 presented to the family of Tracy Ponce as a symbol of our
12 sincere sympathy.
