SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Norah Ann Sivia, who passed away on July
4 10, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Norah Ann Sivia was born on July 20, 1927 in
6 Waukegan; her parents were Michael and Hannah Fuller; she
7 married George Sivia on January 20, 1949; he preceded her in
8 death in 1975; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Norah Ann Sivia attended Immaculate Conception
10 Grade School and Holy Child High School in Waukegan; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Norah Ann Sivia was preceded in death by her
12 husband, George; her daughter, Mary Kay; her son, Timmy; her
13 grandson, Michael Corrigan; her parents; her brothers, Joe,
14 Jimmy, and Willy; and her sisters, Mary, Jane, and Jeanette;
15 and
 
16     WHEREAS, Norah Ann Sivia is survived by her children, Mike
17 Sivia, Pat (Don) Styx, Kathy Sivia-Corrigan, Joe (Maureen)
18 Sivia, Sue (Mike) Dieck, Tom (Kathy) Sivia, Jim (Debbie) Sivia,
19 Margaret (Craig Peterson) Sivia, John (Terry) Sivia, and Danny
20 (Michael Horton) Sivia; her grandchildren, Sean and Eric
21 (Jennifer) Styx, Jimmy Corrigan, Kerry and Kevin Sivia, Ryan

1 (Tammy) and Chris Dolence, Will and Erin Sivia, Katrina Carter
2 and Jimmy Sivia, Michelle and Anna Krotowski, and Brian, Adam,
3 David, and Emily Sivia; her 6 great-grandchildren; her
4 brother-in-law, Ray Wallin; her very special nieces, Barb
5 Reckling and Jody O'Rourke; her nephew, John Wallin; and her
6 many other family members; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9 her family and friends, the passing of Norah Ann Sivia; and be
10 it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the family of Norah Ann Sivia as an expression of
13 our sympathy.
