SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to CommunityHealth to do the following: (1) increase the number of individuals served by 15% (from 7,360 to 8,500) and the number of medical visits by 17% (from 20,600 to 24,000); (2) expand the number of specialty services available on site by 19% (from 24 to 28); (3) increase the number of training programs on site by 63% (from 8 to 13); and (4) open a satellite site on the south side of Chicago.  Effective July 1, 2009.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

     Section 5.  The sum of $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to CommunityHealth to do the following:

     (1) increase the number of individuals served by 15% (from 7,360 to 8,500) and the number of medical visits by 17% (from 20,600 to 24,000);

     (2) expand the number of specialty services available on site by 19% (from 24 to 28);

     (3) increase the number of training programs on site by 63% (from 8 to 13); and

     (4) open a satellite site on the south side of Chicago.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
