HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2
    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ron Logeman on the 
4
occasion of his retirement as Principal of Lisle Senior High 
5
School; and
  
 
6
    WHEREAS, Ron Logeman started his education career after 
7
graduating from Metropolis High School and the University of 
8
Illinois; he then began teaching at Westmont High School in 
9
1977; in 1978, he began teaching English at Lisle Senior High 
10
School; and
  
 
11
    WHEREAS, In addition to teaching English, Ron Logeman 
12
coached football, basketball, and baseball at Lisle; shortly 
13
after becoming Lisle Senior High School's Assistant Principal, 
14
he was promoted to the position of Principal in 1984; and
  
 
15
    WHEREAS, Ron Logeman has given 32 years of service to Lisle 
16
High School; and
  
 
17
    WHEREAS, The students, faculty, and members of the Lisle 
18
community have often commented on Ron Logeman's positive 
19
character and his ability to always have a smile on his face; 
20
and

    WHEREAS, Ron Logeman has committed himself to excellence in 
2
both education and his civic duties; he has inspired and served 
3
as a role model for both children and adults throughout his 
4
life; and
 
5
    WHEREAS, Ron Logeman's wife, Debbie, and his 3 children, 
6
Courtney, Matthew, and Drew, are all proud of Ron's 
7
accomplishments during his career; therefore, be it
  
 
8
    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
9
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
10
congratulate Ron Logeman on the occasion of his retirement and 
11
his successful career as an educator and civil service leader; 
12
and be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14
presented to Ron Logeman as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
