HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Erica Bramlet of 
4
Mt. Carmel on the occasion of being named as a member of the 
5
IHSA All State Academic Team; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Erica Bramlet is a two-year National Honor Society 
7
honoree with a 5.2 GPA on a 5 point scale; she will serve as the 
8
Valedictorian of her senior class; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, Erica Bramlet is a four-year competitor in tennis, 
10
track & field, and scholastic bowl; she qualified for the IHSA 
11
Girls Tennis State Finals three times during her career and was 
12
part of a Sectional-winning tennis team; she is also a 
13
three-time recipient of the Southern Illinois Marian Wood Baird 
14
Cup, a Science Fair semi-finalist, and a third place winner of 
15
the W.Y.S.E. English competition; and

 
16
    WHEREAS, Erica Bramlet is an active member of her school 
17
and her community; she is an active participant in her school's 
18
Student Council, the National Honor Society, and the theater 
19
programs in Mt. Carmel, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters and 
20
the Kiwanis Club; and

 
21
    WHEREAS, Erica Bramlet serves as a model of hard work,

integrity, and dedication for her fellow classmates and the 
2
people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4
NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5
congratulate Erica Bramlet on the occasion of being named as a 
6
member of the IHSA All State Academic Team and wish her 
7
continued success and happiness in the future; and be it

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

presented to Erica Bramlet as a symbol of our esteem and
