Makes an appropriation to the Secretary of State from the General Revenue Fund for costs associated with the implementation of the federal Real ID Act of 2005 (P.L. 109-13). Effective July 1, 2009.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $17,500,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Secretary of State for costs associated with the implementation of the federal Real ID Act of 2005 (P.L. 109-13).
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
