| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act is amended |
| 5 |
| by changing Section 1-110 as follows:
|

| (5 ILCS 420/1-110) (from Ch. 127, par. 601-110)
|

| Sec. 1-110.
"Lobbyist" means any person required to be |

| registered under
"An Act concerning lobbying and
and providing |

| a penalty for violation thereof",
approved July 10, 1957, as |

| amended. |
