    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section 
5
8-3 as follows:

    Sec. 8-3. Compensation. Each school treasurer shall

receive in full, for his services, a
compensation to be fixed, 
9
prior to his appointment, and
and such compensation
shall not

be decreased during his term of office.
