Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Exempts the procurement of leases of property of less than 10,000 square feet with rent of less than $100,000 per year from the required use of the request for information method of procurement (now, procurement is exempt if the lease is of property of less than 10,000 square feet or for rent of less than $100,000 per year). Effective immediately.

Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Makes changes concerning the following: applicability of certain Public Acts; appointment and duties of chief procurement officers; subcontractors; sole source reporting; extensions and renewals of contracts; prohibited vendors and contractors; financial and conflict disclosures; lobbyists; and procurement communication reporting. Changes the effective date to July 1, 2010.
