Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Act. Provides that funds may also be appropriated to the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (not just to the University of Illinois at Chicago and Southern Illinois University) for its forensic psychiatry fellowship training program. Effective July 1, 2009.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Provides that funds may be appropriated to the Board of Higher Education for a grant to the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University for its forensic psychiatry fellowship training program.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Training Act. Removes provisions concerning the disbursement of appropriated funds. Provides that, from funds appropriated for the purposes of the Act, the University of Illinois at Chicago and Southern Illinois University may enter into cooperative agreements with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria or Northwestern University or both for the purpose of funding forensic psychiatric fellowship training programs at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and Northwestern University. Effective July 1, 2009.
