| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Stephanie Frances Wheatley (nee Batura) |
| 4 |
| of Beach Park, who recently passed away; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born August 23, 1928 in North Chicago; she |
| 6 |
| was a Charter member of Our Lady of Humility Church and was a |
| 7 |
| Provena St. Therese Medical Center volunteer; she was a |
| 8 |
| wonderful artist and especially enjoyed her oil painting; she |
| 9 |
| embraced her time spent with family and friends; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, David |
| 11 |
| Wheatley Sr.; her parents, Peter and Katherine Batura; her |
| 12 |
| sisters, Sister Beatine, Jean Dale, Sophia Czajkowski, and |
| 13 |
| Helen Appelt; and her daughter -in-law, Lois Wheatley; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Stephanie Wheatley is survived by her son, David |
| 15 |
| H. Wheatley Jr.; her granddaughter, Jennifer Cody; her |
| 16 |
| daughter, Colleen F. Wheatley-Hendrickson; her granddaughter, |
| 17 |
| Dawn (Jose) Hernandez; her great-grandchildren, Nick, Sam, and |
| 18 |
| Anthony Hernandez; her grandson, Daniel (Heather) Hendrickson; |
| 19 |
| her great-grandson, Lucas Hendrickson; her brother, Stephen |
| 20 |
| Batura; and her many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be |
