SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Louis G. Albano of Antioch, who passed
4 away on September 28, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born June 16, 1921 in Chicago, the son of
6 the late Barney and Mary (Lotito) Albano, moving to Salem,
7 Wisconsin in 1947 and to Antioch in 1952; and
 
8     WHEREAS, During World War II, he served in the United
9 States Army; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Before his retirement Louis was a union carpenter
11 and a member of the Carpenters Union Local #1539 of Des
12 Plaines; he loved his work, farming, flower raising, the Cubs
13 and Bears, golf, NASCAR racing, and other sports; and
 
14     WHEREAS, On January 26, 1980 he married Lillian "Bunny"
15 Comellar Mihovilovich in Antioch; and
 
16     WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his first wife,
17 Harriet, in 1976; and
 
18     WHEREAS, Louis Albano is survived by his wife, Bunny; his
19 five children, Richard (Judy) Albano, William (Debra) Albano,

1 Linda (Joe) Torri, Russell (Maria) Albano, and Lou Ann (Jim)
2 Holmes; his seven step-children, John (Donna), Jim, Joe
3 (Carol), Jerry (Kim), Jeff (Natalie), Mike (Cheri), and Mary
4 Ann Mihovilovich; his sister, Ann (Wynn) Rowley; his brother,
5 Thomas Albano; his nine grandchildren; and his two
6 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
7     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9 his family and friends, the passing of Louis G. Albano; and be
10 it further
 
11     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12 presented to the family of Louis G. Albano as a symbol of our
13 sincere sympathy.
