| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of
Patricia Sue Stalcup of South Roxana, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on October 16, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Patricia Sue Stalcup was born on November 13, 1954 |
| 6 |
| in Carrollton; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Patricia Sue Stalcup worked for the Hayner Public |
| 8 |
| Library District in Alton in the Acquisitions Department for |
| 9 |
| over 37 years; during her 37-year tenure, every book in the |
| 10 |
| library's adult branches and children's library was personally |
| 11 |
| handled by her; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Patricia Sue Stalcup was preceded in death by her |
| 13 |
| maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her mother, |
| 14 |
| Margaret (Sally) Chapman; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Patricia Sue Stalcup is survived by her son, Ryan |
| 16 |
| Stalcup; her daughter and her boyfriend, Courtney Stalcup and |
| 17 |
| Chris Wood; her father, Harvey Chapman; her sister and her |
| 18 |
| husband, Shelly and Michael Thornton; her nieces and nephews |
| 19 |
| and their spouses, Jason and Louise Chapman, Joshua and Molly |
| 20 |
| Chapman and their daughter, Emma, and Justin and Stephanie |
| 21 |
| Chapman; and her younger niece and nephew, Nicholas and Sarah |
