| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |

| learn of the death of Joanne L. (Krynski) Karlstad of |
| 4 |
| Bolingbrook, formerly of Romeoville, Cicero, and San
|
| 5 |
| Francisco, California, who passed away on July 30, 2008; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Joanne Karlstad was an interviewer for the United |
| 7 |
| States Census Bureau for 23 years, retiring in 1995; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS,
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald |
| 9 |
| M. Karlstad; her parents, Stanley and Anna (nee Herold) |
| 10 |
| Krynski; and her brother, Larry Krynski; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She was the loving mother of Karen (Phillip) |
| 12 |
| Gonzalez, Michael (Alice) Karlstad, and Laurie (David) |
| 13 |
| Arellano; the dear grandmother of Krystal, Bryan, Carolyn, |
| 14 |
| Keith, Eric, and Adam; and the great-grandmother of Alexia |
| 15 |
| Joanne; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 18 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Joanne Karlstad; and be |
