SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Diana Wiesemann of Worden, who passed 
4
away on March 31, 2008; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann was born on February 14, 1952 in 
6
Highland; she was the daughter of Raymond and Geraldine 
7
(Shaffer) Determan; she married Kenneth L. Wiesemann on 
8
September 4, 1976 in Worden; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann worked for over 30 years as a 
10
secretary for Madison Service Company; she also served as a 
11
membership secretary for the Madison County Farm Bureau in 
12
Edwardsville for more than 4 years; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann was a member at Trinity Lutheran 
14
Church of Worden, the Madison County Farm Bureau, and she was 
15
an active volunteer working with the Worden Fire Department; 
16
and

 
17
    WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann enjoyed camping and her pet 
18
dalmatian, Hollie; and

 
19
    WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann was preceded in death by her 
20
father; and

    WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann is survived by her mother; her 
2
husband; her son, Kent Lee Wiesemann; her mother-in-law, 
3
LaVerne Wiesemann; her brother, Larry D. and wife Liz Determan; 
4
her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dan and wife Karen 
5
Wiesemann, Shirley and husband Stan Hollaway, and Linda and 
6
husband Darrell Painter; and her  several nieces and nephews; 
7
therefore, be it

 
8
    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 
9
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
10
her family and friends, the passing of Diana Wiesemann; and be 
11
it further

 
12
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13
presented to the family of Diana Wiesemann as an expression of 
14
our sympathy.
