| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Catherine E. Carroll of Spokane Valley, |
| 4 |
| formerly of Chatham, who passed away April 9, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born March 14, 1946, in Lititz, |
| 6 |
| Pennsylvania, to the Reverend Charles Jr. and Hester Trunk; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Her family moved to Frederick, Maryland, in the |
| 8 |
| 1950s and she graduated from Frederick High School and |
| 9 |
| Wittenberg University; she excelled in her role as mother, |
| 10 |
| daughter, sister, and grandma; she was also an accomplished |
| 11 |
| accountant, working for small companies and non-profits; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS,
Catherine Carroll is survived by her husband of 33 |
| 13 |
| years, Larry; her daughters, Megan Maney and husband, Brian, |
| 14 |
| and Laura Carroll and boyfriend, Darin McGinnis; her beloved |
| 15 |
| grandson, Derek Payton Maney; her sister, Peggy Young; and her |
| 16 |
| brother, Charles F. Trunk III; therefore, be it
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Catherine E. Carroll; |
