| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 |
| learn of the death of Robert P. Will Jr. of Waukegan, who |
4 |
| passed away on November 20, 2007; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Robert P. Will Jr. was born April 6, 1938, in |
6 |
| Waukegan; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, Robert Will served with the Army Reserves; he |
8 |
| began his practice of law in 1962, opened his first law office |
9 |
| in 1963, and had continued practicing law for 45 years, |
10 |
| including 15 years with his partner-in-crime, Tom Briscoe; he |
11 |
| served as chief public defender of Lake County for |
12 |
| approximately 10 years; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, He was an active member of the Republican Party, |
14 |
| both nationally and in Lake County; he was also a lifetime |
15 |
| Green Bay Packers fan, a Los Angeles Dodgers fan, and was a |
16 |
| charter member of the Packer Hall of Fame in Green Bay; he was |
17 |
| also a member of Waukegan Lodge #78 A.F. & A.M. and Zion-Benton |
18 |
| Moose Lodge #667; and
|
19 |
| WHEREAS, Robert P. Will Jr. was preceded in death by his |
20 |
| father, Robert P. Will Sr.; and one brother, Frederick Scott |
21 |
| Will; and
