SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Vivian Delores Stimac of Alton, who
4 passed away on November 5, 2007 ; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Vivian Stimac was born August 31, 1928, in Wayne
6 County, to Donald C. and Hazel (Pierson) Whitlock; she married
7 Andy "Jerry" Stimac on March 8, 1946; and
 
8     WHEREAS, She was a member of Holy Angels Parish in Wood
9 River; and
 
10     WHEREAS, She was a retiree of Olin after more than 25 years
11 of service; she was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles,
12 loved old movies, and took enormous pride in her children and
13 grandchildren; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Vivian Stimac was preceded in death by her
15 husband, Andy "Jerry" Stimac; her parents; a daughter, Kathleen
16 Lee; a son-in-law, Russell Crabtree; a brother, Donald
17 Whitlock; and a sister, Helen Burkard; and
 
18     WHEREAS, Vivian Stimac is survived by her three daughters
19 and their husbands, Connie Crabtree, Judy and Dean Sweet, and
20 Mary Jo and Mike Farmer; her son and his wife, Steven and

1 Georgia Stimac; her grandchildren and their spouses, Andrew
2 Crabtree and Alison Clarke, Christopher Crabtree, Alex Sweet,
3 Kyle and Erika Kennett, NiCole Mattina, Nicholas and Tabitha
4 Stimac, Jeramy Stimac and Joanna Fennisdorf, Nikki Biggs,
5 Edward and Melinda Cory, and Michelle Farmer; her
6 great-grandchildren, Morgan Sweet, Zachary Kennett, Tieler,
7 Tanner, and Maegann Thomas, Isabella Mattina, Olivia Stimac,
8 and Isaiah Aldrich; and her sisters-in-law and
9 brothers-in-law, Doris Duich, John Duich, Elizabeth and
10 Vincent Militello, and Steve and Margaret Duich; therefore, be
11 it
 
12     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
13 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
14 her family and friends, the passing of Vivian Stimac; and be it
15 further
 
16     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17 presented to the family of Vivian Stimac as a symbol of our
18 sympathy.
