| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Carol Riebock, who passed away on |
| 4 |
| September 5, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Carol Riebock served as a Bible teacher and head |
| 6 |
| of the Bible Department at Wheaton Academy in Wheaton for 18 |
| 7 |
| years; she served as the head of Wheaton Academy's music and |
| 8 |
| drama programs, and was actively involved with the drama |
| 9 |
| productions with the Wheaton Christian Grammar School; she |
| 10 |
| served as the Wheaton Academy Chaplain during the early 1990s; |
| 11 |
| and she was a well-known class sponsor and avid spectator at |
| 12 |
| student events; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Carol Riebock is survived by her children, |
| 14 |
| Corbett, Josh, and Quinn; her son-in-law, Josh Burick; and her |
| 15 |
| daughter-in-law, Kristen Riebock; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Carol Riebock's love of God and her students was |
| 17 |
| well known throughout the halls of Wheaton Academy; her |
| 18 |
| insightful comments, eclectic fashion style, and wonderful |
| 19 |
| sense of humor will be remembered and missed by her students |
| 20 |
| and fellow teachers; therefore, be it
|
